A special collaboration created in support of Noto following the earthquake.
Japanese Calm for Modern Life
Bringing the Japanese appreciation of stillness and space into modern life.
We explored The Essence of Calm.
Now, The Code of Calm is a new series that reinterprets this philosophy and expresses it in a way that naturally exists within contemporary life.
From a Cup of Tea, Sending Our Thoughts to Noto
The Kanazawa Boucha we share is a traditional Japanese tea born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Ishikawa is not only a deeply meaningful place for our tea, but also the birthplace and foundation of our brand.
That is why the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in 2024 was something we could never consider distant from ourselves.
This project was created with the hope of bringing awareness to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake and supporting the ongoing recovery.
As part of our first series, The Essence of Calm, a portion of sales is donated to support the recovery of the Noto region in Ishikawa Prefecture.
About the Noto Peninsula Earthquake
On January 1, 2024, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
The earthquake claimed many lives and caused severe damage to homes, roads, ports, and other essential infrastructure.
It also deeply affected the communities, traditions, and cultural heritage that have been nurtured in the region over generations.
Although the earthquake received worldwide attention immediately after it occurred, opportunities to hear about its impact have gradually decreased over time.
However, recovery is still ongoing.
Many people in the affected areas continue to take steps toward rebuilding their lives each day.
Through this project, we hope to keep the memory of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake alive and create an opportunity for people around the world to learn about the continuing journey of recovery.
In the quiet moment of preparing tea, we invite you to hold space for Noto.
We hope that this small moment can become a way to continue providing care and support towards the recovery.

Another Expression of Calm Through Music
An artist who shares this vision has created an original piece of music exclusively for this project.
Through the language of sound, the artist expresses the world of The Code of Calm — the stillness, space, and passage of time that words alone cannot fully capture.
The moment of preparing tea.
The instant when its aroma begins to rise.
The quiet time spent enjoying a single cup.
This music was created to gently accompany those moments.
The Sound of Calm
Every product includes a QR code that provides access to this original soundtrack.
Through the QR code, you can listen to and download the music, enjoying it whenever and as often as you wish.
May the ritual of preparing tea bring a little more calm into your day.
And may that moment of calm become an opportunity to connect with and remember Noto, even from afar.
